The Butler Law Firm is proud to announce that Matt Kahn, formerly of Fried & Bonder, will be joining the firm as personal injury lawyer.
“Matt brings a lot to the firm,” said founder Jeb Butler. “He’s smart, personable, and has a lot of good experience with personal injury work.” Butler added that Fried & Bonder is well-known as a fine law firm, and that Kahn learned about business litigation as well as the meat-and-potatoes of personal injury litigation while working there. Kahn graduated from Emory University School of Law in 2015, where he was a journal editor and interned for Judge Sara Doyle of the Georgia Court of Appeals.
“I am excited to begin the next chapter of my career with Butler Kahn,” said Kahn. “Jeb and his team have a great reputation in the legal community for their work both in and out of the courtroom. I look forward to continuing that tradition through our representation of critically injured people.”
Kahn will work on a variety of wrongful death and personal injury cases at Butler Firm. He will take a leading role in several truck accident and car accident cases, and will work on some of the firm’s product liability cases as well.
Butler added one note of reservation. “I had grown accustomed to being the best-looking male lawyer at my firm, and with Matt coming on board, I have probably lost that distinction,” he said. “But you do what you have to do to land legal talent, I guess.” When asked about his new boss’s reservations, Kahn declined to comment.
