Her background gives her a distinct advantage. Janeen began her career defending large corporations and insurance companies, learning firsthand how they investigate, evaluate, and litigate claims. While handling several pro bono cases for plaintiffs, she discovered her passion for the creativity, challenge, and personal connection that plaintiffs’ work offers. Today, she leverages her defense experience to and stronger, smarter cases for her clients.
Janeen prepares each case with trial in mind. Known for her meticulous preparation, Janeen leaves no detail overlooked. She combs through medical records, collaborates with leading experts, and tracks down critical evidence to ensure every client’s story is fully and powerfully presented.Â
Born and raised in Fort Pierce, Florida, she earned her undergraduate degree from Florida Atlantic University and her law degree from Emory University School of Law, where she was a member of the moot court society and a Graduating Woman of Excellence. Janeen is also a graduate of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s distinguished LEAD Program.
Outside the courtroom, Janeen enjoys spending time with her family and pets at their home in East Atlanta. She is an avid runner and a devoted Atlanta United fan.
