Michelle Hilliard Killed in McIntosh County Semi-Truck Accident

Michelle Hilliard, 23, Died in McIntosh County Car Accident Involving Tractor-Trailer Truck on SR 57

MCINTOSH COUNTY, GEORGIA (July 3, 2026) – A 23-year-old woman identified as Michelle Hilliard has tragically died in a McIntosh County semi-truck accident along SR 57.

McIntosh County officials are saying that the accident took place around 9:30 PM on Monday night. A semi-truck with a large “Dollar General” logo was attempting to back up into a driveway along SR 57.

Michelle Hilliard was in a Chrysler 300 with her children and was not able to avoid the truck after it moved into her lane. Paramedics arrived at the scene of the crash to help all of the victims.

Sadly, Michelle Hilliard was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision. Her two children were taken to a local area hospital to receive treatment.

A full investigation remains ongoing at this time.
