Congratulations to Our 2026 Scholarship Winners!

Our law firm was thrilled with the talent, creativity, and dedication we saw from our 2026
scholarship award applicants. We received thoughtful entries from high school, college, and
graduate students from across the country.

The attorneys of Butler Kahn asked students to submit a video responding to the following
question:

“How do YOU want to make the world better?”

We appreciate every submission we received. While we would love to award a scholarship to
every applicant, we had to choose only two winners. The funds they receive will help support
the costs of pursuing higher education.
We thank every student who submitted a video and wish everyone the best as they continue
pursuing their goals.

1st Place: Anara Getter

Anara impressed our scholarship committee with a thoughtful and inspiring vision for creating
positive change. Through her video, she demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the
lives of others and highlighted how education, compassion, and service can make a meaningful
difference in communities. Her passion, maturity, and dedication to making the world a better
place made her a deserving recipient of this year’s top scholarship award.

Runner-Up: Marcy Gray

Marcy’s submission showcased a heartfelt commitment to helping others and a clear plan for
creating positive impact. Her video reflected creativity, determination, and a genuine desire to
contribute to a better future. We were impressed by her thoughtful perspective and are proud to
recognize her as this year’s runner-up scholarship recipient.

Congratulations to both Anara and Marcy on their achievements. We look forward to seeing all

Matt Kahn

Matt Kahn is an Atlanta personal injury lawyer and a partner at the law firm Butler Kahn. Matt has dedicated his career to fighting for individuals and families who had been harmed by the negligence of others.
