While we would love to award a scholarship to every applicant, we had to choose only two winners. The funds they receive will go towards the costs of pursuing higher education.We thank every student who submitted a video and wish everyone the best as they move forward.1st Place: Sierra RomeroSierra is a Gates and Daniels Fund Scholar pursuing a Master\u2019s in Social and Public Policy. She leads community-focused programs at Johns Hopkins and has worked with nonprofits on communications, advocacy, and equity. She aims to create lasting impact through public service and inclusive policy.Runner up: Abigail SoAbigail is a summa cum laude graduate in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and a fluent Spanish speaker. She has worked in data analytics and marketing at JPMorgan Chase, Erie Insurance, and Opera Philadelphia.
