Sarah was born in Roanoke, Virginia, where she attended high school and began her college career at Virginia Western Community College. In 2007, she moved to Savannah, Georgia where she attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. Sarah graduated with honors with her Bachelors of Science in Cell Molecular Biology.
From there, she moved to Atlanta Georgia, where she began volunteering at the American Red Cross as a Case Manager. While at the American Red Cross Sarah discovered her passion for helping other people through the legal profession. Her work inspired her to pursue a career as a paralegal. Sarah enrolled in the American Bar Association accredited Paralegal Certificate Program at Clayton State University, and joined the Butler Law Firm team following her first semester.
As a paralegal, Sarah manages client cases from beginning to end. In addition to her paralegal education, Sarah’s background in biology enhances her ability to understand medical conditions, read medical records, and communicate with the expert nurse consultants the firm often uses. Sarah often attends trials with our attorneys where she manages the trial exhibits and the media display we present to the jury. Her attention to detail and trial support allows our attorneys to focus on the strategic aspects in the courtroom. Sarah is also a notary public.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys cooking delicious healthy meals, hiking Georgia’s mountains, and road biking with her husband who is a partner in one of Atlanta’s large Midtown law firms.
