Sarah was born in Roanoke, Virginia, where she attended high school and began her college career at Virginia Western Community College. In 2007, she moved to Savannah, Georgia where she attended Armstrong Atlantic State University. Sarah graduated with honors with her Bachelors of Science in Cell Molecular Biology with the hopes of pursuing a career in medicine.
From there, she moved to Atlanta Georgia, where she began volunteering at the American Red Cross as a Case Manager. While at the American Red Cross Sarah discovered her passion for helping other people through the legal profession, which inspired her to shift her focus to the law. Sarah enrolled in the American Bar Association accredited Paralegal Certificate Program at Clayton State University, and joined the Butler Kahn team following her first semester.

Sarah initially joined the team as a paralegal and continued in that role until July 2021. During her time as a paralegal, she continued to take on additional duties throughout the firm which opened the door to her now role as the Office Manager.

As the Office Manager, Sarah handles the day to day operations, finances, administrative duties, and keeps the office and team organized so they have everything they need to focus on the most important piece of the firm, our clients.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys cooking delicious healthy meals, hiking Georgia’s mountains, and road biking with her husband who is a partner in one of Atlanta’s large Midtown law firms.
